Food for Thought 10

This is for my ladies...

Ever wondered why is it that jerks become jerks after the fact that you've fallen head over heels, hopelessly, undeniably in love with that jerk?

Why does it not show from the start??

Driving me Nuts!!

Currently, I have...

a cellphone i.e. calls and txts
a Facebook account
a Friendster account
a Myspace account
a blog
Yahoo! Messenger
MSN Messenger
Twitter
and....
a gazillion e-mail accounts (thanks to a certain someone), 2 of which I check on, sometimes.

Earlier today, I asked my friend..."why the hell haven't you called in such a long time?"

and he said..."Why the hell haven't you replied any of my e-mails and Friendster messages?"

so, now I'm in a dilemma, did I lose contact with him or did he?

What happened to the days of just having one phone and one e-mail for people to contact you..
I'm telling you, technology is driving me NUTsssooooO!!!

Wait till I get a Blackberry or a Sidekick...then we can all just forget about calling or texting each other because I wouldn't know where to begin...we'll just have to meet whenever we do..
Hey! that's like going back to the days when we didn't have technology, yeah, I'll just catch ya when I catch ya!

Doinks*!

What gives you the right?

Silently creeping back into my life without a word of apology?

Think you're smart?

Think you're safe?

Think it's over?

Well, your brain needs to reboot.

I have not forgotten and I never will.

Go tie a noose,

Touchy subject? Boo you!

This post is a reponse to Juliette Alei's post, "questions that you will question yourself".

Juliette's my friend and if you've read the post, i hope you agree with me in saying, she has a great point!

Religion is something written in concrete, for those who believe to obey and most of all, respect. In my opinion, it is something you have to learn, appreciate and understand before you start telling people what they should and should not do. Hello, your NOT God. Come to think of it, religion is a fairly easy subject to handle, it is in black and white and there are almost zero grey areas. But we, human beings, we make religion a complex thing.

As my friend admitted, I will do so too, I am not a staunch Muslim and I do have a lot of questions that I too, ask myself. Having questions is all fine and stuff, we're only human, and it is normal for us to question things. But as I've mentioned before, there are always answers and Allah has put them all around us. We just have to look for it. This is where faith comes in. I do have faith in Him and I do believe that He is judging us in everything that we do.

It does not matter which religion you believe in, or which God you pray to everyday, what's important is that you don't take things as they are, you still question and you still wonder. Why do some things exist and why do others not? However, just because you don't have such a stronghold on religion, it does not mean that your opinion does not count. You don't have to wear a tudung labuh or kopiah to actually know what to say about religion. I'm not saying that anyone and everyone has a valid opinion. But I do have enough faith in my brothers and sisters to know that we know what is right and wrong. Based on what we have learnt about our Religion. and that is my professional opinion, yo! :)

p/s: Aimi, i wanted to leave a comment on your page. But as you can see, a comment this long would be absurd.

Blahh...

Like, Seriously, how the hell does a person come up with a title for their FYP in like, 4 days. This piece of assholic assignment which could possibly turn my life upside down is not something you play the fool with. And you, and your merry band of intellectuals are telling me that i need to hurry up and get myself a title. are you fucking kidding me?????

Come on, has common sense flown out the window or are you just plain ignorant?
Sheesh, people!

I need a tall shot of whiskey. You kids are driving me up the wall. Dang it!

Oh well...

The streamyx connection at home is fucked up so i can't really blog in comfort right now...
i'm stuck with hauling my laptop to class everyday just so i can read my friends' blogs and check my Facebook. So, thank God for UiTM's WiFi, yea it's unbelievably slow, but it's the only thing helping right now.

It's 9.51 on a Tuesday morning and we're watching P. Ramlee's Kassim Selamat for Asian Lit class.

I'm so effing hungry.

I'm also very sleepy.

Absofuckinglutely amazing this feeling is!!!

Food for Thought 09

Young men usually have the desire to have a girlfriend/ wife who is super hot, one they can be proud of and show off to their friends, ESPECIALLY to show off to their friends. I'm talking about girls who are drop-dead gorgeous and can turn the heads of any man as she passes by.

However, i wonder if these men really do know what it takes for those super hot girls to look the way they do. Guys, here are some things that you should know about your women. And yes, it isn't going to be pretty.

1. They look horrible in the morning. Yes, morning breath and everything.

2. They fart. Some even more than men. It IS a natural living process, you know.

3. They shave/tweeze/wax any visible body hair. Armpits, eyebrows, some do the upper lip thingy and yes, the vah-jay-jay vicinity.

4. They snore/drool/sleep with their mouths wide open.

5. They smell horrible if they don't shower after working out. Can you say "body odour"?

6. They pick their noses, scratch their butts, and pull on their wedgies when they think no one's looking.

So guys and gals, still think that everyone's perfectly perfect and flawless from the second they get out of bed in the morning? Think. Again.

Love,
S.M
