Salam Aidilfitri.
Selamat Hari Raya
Maaf Zahir dan Batin.
Maaf Zahir dan Batin.
Well, Ramadhan went by us pretty quickly, didn't it?
Have fun. Eat lots of nonsense. Drink all the insanely sweet drinks you may so desire. Collect your duit raya. Hug and smooch your loved ones. Have never-ending conversations in which you can't help but nod your head politely and agree to everything that other person says..Oh joy!
;-)
Enjoy, folks!
With lotsa love,
S.M

Inside Joke.
Remember when your mom used to shove ridiculous things in your mouth, and then said it was good for you but then it tasted like a dead cockroach's arse?
Well, for me it was tofu...or "tahu" in Malay.
But then, just to make your mom happy, and to see that smile on her face, u try to eat it, you try to digest it (eventhough it makes you want to vomit blood out of your eyes, you still wanna try)
I'm trying...
I'm trying like a bitch!
Finally, you start to realise, the more you see something you hate, the more you hate it....ugghh
Oh....glory!
I hope you're laughing, bitches!!

Ramadhan Al-Mubarak.
A young Muslim man was caught smoking (by his colleague) in the middle of the afternoon, during Ramadhan. His friend gently reminded him,
"Dude, if you're gonna smoke in the middle of the day during puasa, at least do it in the toilet, man. Malu nanti orang nampak! Kalau kene ngan Jabatan Agama, lagi teruk doh!"
To this, he calmly replied,
"If you can guarantee me that God can't see me smoke in the toilet, then I'll do it. Allah nampak, tak malu plak?? and shame on you for fearing the Jabatan Agama, who are they anyways?"
“Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not look forward to the Days of God. It is for Him to recompense each people according to what they have earned” – Surah 45 verse 14 of the Holy Qur’an.
“You shall invite to the path of God with wisdom and compassionate enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner. Your Lord knows best who is deviating from His path, and He knows best who are guided.” – Surah 16 verse 125 of the Holy Qur’an.
Still feel like judging? Go ahead.
To all Muslims, I bid you Good Luck in completing the obligations of this sacred month. May Allah bless you and reward you for your right-doings.Amin.
Happy Ramadhan!

I'm right and You know it!
Today, I'm going to question the practicality of a wedding ring. What is it good for anyways?
1. To announce to the world that you're married? That you're someone's husband/wife?
2. To showcase your wealth in the form of a piece of metal wrapped around your finger?
3. Make it oh-so-romantic by engraving your names and sweet little messages on the inside of the ring.
The people (our ancestors) who came up with the idea of wedding rings seemed to have ignored the fact that this particular item has one HUGE flaw. It can be taken off anytime, anywhere and put back on a minute later. So who's to make sure that your husband or wife doesn't take off his/her wedding ring, like, EVER?
I say, *brand married people, yeah, as in cow branding. Think about it, with huge brands on their asses, this would certainly make your spouses think twice about cheating on you. It's a cheaper, full-proof alternative to a wedding ring! So, instead of getting a wedding ring on your finger the day you get married, you get a brand on your butt, permanently categorizing you as a married man/woman.

Diamonds are forever, you say? I say, a big fat brand on your ass is forever-er!
That'll make it permanent, just like a marriage should be.
Love,
S.M
*Branding means to stamp a logo on any part of your body using a blazing hot iron, so it burns the skin and the mark is permanent, almost like a tattoo, but it fucking hurts. (Click here to see for yourself)
**Disclaimer: If you, in any way find this entry tempting, then you must not have that much faith in your spouse, or your relationship/marriage. GOTCHA! haha. I know, I'm such a bitch!

What gives you the right?
Silently creeping back into my life without a word of apology?
Think you're smart?
Think you're safe?
Think it's over?
Well, your brain needs to reboot.
I have not forgotten and I never will.
Go tie a noose,
S.M

Touchy subject? Boo you!
This post is a reponse to Juliette Alei's post, "questions that you will question yourself".
Juliette's my friend and if you've read the post, i hope you agree with me in saying, she has a great point!
Religion is something written in concrete, for those who believe to obey and most of all, respect. In my opinion, it is something you have to learn, appreciate and understand before you start telling people what they should and should not do. Hello, your NOT God. Come to think of it, religion is a fairly easy subject to handle, it is in black and white and there are almost zero grey areas. But we, human beings, we make religion a complex thing.
As my friend admitted, I will do so too, I am not a staunch Muslim and I do have a lot of questions that I too, ask myself. Having questions is all fine and stuff, we're only human, and it is normal for us to question things. But as I've mentioned before, there are always answers and Allah has put them all around us. We just have to look for it. This is where faith comes in. I do have faith in Him and I do believe that He is judging us in everything that we do.
It does not matter which religion you believe in, or which God you pray to everyday, what's important is that you don't take things as they are, you still question and you still wonder. Why do some things exist and why do others not? However, just because you don't have such a stronghold on religion, it does not mean that your opinion does not count. You don't have to wear a tudung labuh or kopiah to actually know what to say about religion. I'm not saying that anyone and everyone has a valid opinion. But I do have enough faith in my brothers and sisters to know that we know what is right and wrong. Based on what we have learnt about our Religion. and that is my professional opinion, yo! :)
Love,
S.M
p/s: Aimi, i wanted to leave a comment on your page. But as you can see, a comment this long would be absurd.

Double d'uh!
There has always been one thing that tickles my funny bone every time i hear Malaysians trying to have a conversation.
I dub thee, the Malaysian small talk.
Situation A:
(Woman watering her plants in the comfort of her own yard, not realizing her neighbour is lurking behind the fence, also watering her plants)
Neighbour : Huii, Senah, siram pokok ke?
Senah : Eh, Kak Pah, ha'ah, tgh siram pokok ni. Dah macam nak layu dah. Kak Pah pun siram pokok?
Observe: OBVIOUSLY they're both watering their respective plants. Couldn't the conversation have started with a (Senah, kau sehat?). Simple as that.
Let us try and apply this to a situation outside of the Malaysian context.
Situation B:
(In a small village in England, Richard is tossing some feed to his flock of chickens while his neighbour, Arthur, looks on from his own backyard.)
Arthur : Good afternoon there neighbour! Feeding the chickens, are we?
Richard : (looks at Arthur with a "d'uh" look in his face, adding a somewhat friendly smile to it)
Observe: Conversations like the one that took place in Senah's house never/rarely happens any where else in the world. Further presenting evidence that we, Malaysians, are the best when it comes to small talk - we just use whatever's going on in the present as a subject of central focus and then we hope to move on to other things.
Hopefully after the boring "siram pokok" talk, you'll start gossipping about other stuff. Like what time that other neighbour's husband came home last night.
Uniquely Malaysian, that's what I say!

Annoyingly Sweet.
Give me more loving than I’ve ever had
Make me feel better when I’m feeling sad
Tell me I’m special even though I know I’m not
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
Barely getting mad
I’m so glad I found you
I love being around you
You make it easy
Its as easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4
There’s only One thing
Two Do
Three words
Four you
(I love you) I love you
There’s only one way to say
Those three words
That’s what I’ll do
(I love you) I love you
Give me more loving from the very start
Piece me back together when I fall apart
Tell me things you never even tell your closest friends
Make me feel good when I hurt so bad
You’re the best that I’ve had
And I’m so glad I found you
I love being around you
You make it easy
It’s easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4
(I love you) I love you
(I love you) I love you

Go on. Judge me, bitches!

Aren't my options... Mine?
There are a few things you should notice/realize/acknowledge...
1. I am no longer angry/resentful.
2. I am not a sad little person.
3. I am very much happy.
4. I am satisfied.
5. I am grateful.
6. I am not making this a resolution.
7. I am living MY life.
Period.
